Greek liars

In 1985 the Greek government hired the Greek professor Kofos (a Vlah from Magarevo, Bitolsko) to study the Bulgarian problem in Aegean Macedonia. The professor found out that in Aegean Macedonia there are 750,000 Bulgarians. This report was to be presented to the Slavic symposium in Bucharest, 1986. After Belgrade found about that, the Serbs sent a protest note to the Greek government. Professor Kofos was stopped but the Bulgarian delegation managed to smuggle a copy of the report.In the year 1998 the Greek government again hired two professors from the University of Cambridge to study the Bulgarian question in Aegean Macedonia. They came with the report that, in Aegean Macedonia there are 673,000 Bulgarians. The Cambridge University press in Athens refused to publish it. The two professors most demonstratively left the university. Greece grudgingly tolerates the Macedonian nationality because if it opens the BULGARIAN CAN OF WORMS, THINGS WILL GET VERY MESSY.
